Primus 2000
“Primus 2000” was my first project involving an engine. The main goal was to modify and install a 2-stroke lawn mower engine onto a bicycle. In this project I was not only considering the engine components, I had to adapt various other parts, such as: the carburetor, power generator, controller, power capacitor for spark voltage, connector and spark plug, timing sensor for the ignition, throttle, clutch, gears, exhaust system, and an emergency button to shut off the engine. Although not groundbreaking, these modifications were crucial for me to comprehend the inner workings of these mechanisms. I still keep this bike at my house today, as it represents an unforgettable personal experience, allowing me to understand and tinker with my own hands. It highlights the significant progress humanity has made in inventing the first internal combustion engine and emphasizes the importance of proper assembly and synchronization of its parts.
